Around the Nishimikawa Placer Gold Mine (now Sasagawa Settlement) is still a residential area. Due to the lack of tourists’ facilities, please join a guided tour when you visiting.

Requests to those visiting Tsurushi Silver Mine

Please note that in Tsurushi Silver Mine (now mountainous area of Sawane district) some areas are difficult to walk in, and can also be dangerous. Additional caution is also required for bees and snakes.
Due to the lack of tourists’ facilities, please join a guided tour when you visiting.

Rules and Manners for visitors

◆Follow the rules and do not disturb the residents and other visitors.
◆Some sections in the mining sites are dangerous. Do not enter any restricted areas.
◆Damaging remains or buildings, as well as taking home unearthed articles, soil, stones, animals, or plants is prohibited.
◆Take your trash home with you, since no trash cans are provided on site.
◆Smoking is allowed only in the designated areas. The handling of fire is strictly prohibited.
◆Observe the traffic rules during your tour. (No parking is allowed on the street or private premises.)
